Public Health Ontario — Healthcare · 2021
Led CMS platform selection and headless architecture design for Public Health Ontario — delivering full government compliance, WCAG 2.1 AA, ADFS identity integration, and an Azure-hosted platform adopted organization-wide.
Key Outcome
Government-compliant headless CMS adopted organization-wide, delivered on schedule
The Work
The Challenge
Public Health Ontario's web presence was running on an ageing CMS that could not meet evolving government accessibility mandates. The organisation needed a modernized platform meeting Ontario government compliance standards, WCAG 2.1 AA, and government identity integration obligations.
The Approach
Jehad led the discovery and CMS platform selection process. The selected architecture was a headless Sitecore XM implementation with a React-based front end. The platform integrated with ADFS for government identity management and was hosted on Azure to satisfy data residency requirements.
The Outcome
The platform was adopted organization-wide, becoming PHO's primary vehicle for public health information delivery. All government compliance requirements were met on schedule.
